Story Behind "Gathering"
The tribe chose a specific day each month to gather under unique conditions where not everyone could participate. Each member was required to attend naked, devoid of any accessories, and they had to begin cleansing their minds and bodies two days prior. They would then sit in a circle at the temple for three hours to pray. Everyone had individual prayers, ranging from health for a father, fertility wishes, increased crop yields, to marriage prospects for daughters. However, they all shared one collective prayer, which they would chant aloud at the end: "God, almighty and pure, my master, either resurrect us or kill us all."
